International shipping is available. Please note there are times when shipping via an airline is not possible due to adverse weather that may endanger the health of the chinchilla(s). Such weather includes temperatures below 32° Fahrenheit or greater than 75° Fahrenheit at any point of travel.
When shipping is possible, we will assist you with an optimum shipping solution to your destination. Below is a list of the average buyer’s international shipping expenses to help assist you with any questions you may have.
We require a $5,000 minimum purchase to ship internationally, please inquire for more information. International buyers may need to obtain an import permit from your Department of Agriculture (may vary from country to country) in order for us to ship to you.
Estimated International Shipping Costs:
$100 – transportation surcharge (includes round trips to the airport)
$120 – international airline approved shipping carrier (one piece, convertible 1-4 holes)
$1,000 – International Airway Fees (actual price varies according to international airline used, the total shipping weight of the carrier when including animals/feed/water, and the final destination)
$150 – International Animal Health Certificate
$150 – Certificate of Origin (required by some countries)
$80 – Overnight Mailing of original Document
